Project Management encompasses the comprehensive management, on behalf of the owner, of all aspects of a project from conception through design to construction and commissioning. The resources of a project must be planned, organized, directed and controlled efficiently and effectively. The resources, which include time, money, material, and people are always a scarce commodity. To have a successful project these commodities need to be carefully managed through all phases of the project.
