Maintenance demands, scheduled or unscheduled, are received and managed in one central location in most organizations, namely a Work Reception and Control Center. Although there are a number of variations, depending upon the needs of the organization, typically the execution of maintenance demands is accomplished in the form shown below. The Work Reception and Control Center is the backbone to the maintenance organization, which needs to be properly set-up and well managed.
